    Default Ice jig.

I just got done watching several of the Crappie Masters tournaments on myoutdoortv.com and i watched one particular one from Florida on Lake Monroe and couple of fellas said they were using ice jigs. What the heck are they? i googled ice jigs and all i found was little spoons that i guess are used for ice fishing(the kind with a hole and shanty), is that what they are? a spoon? If someone knows what im talking about how bout post a pic or give me a link to see em. Thanks

Just go to the "ice fishing forum" here and read up on them. They're just tiny little jigs designed to be fished vertically.

Here's is what I use in the W2 (1/8oz model) under a slipfloat. Works great under the docks when the water gets really cold.

Well i didnt actually think they were the same kinda jigs that people used to ice fish. I thought they were just a jig that had the name "ice jig".

I use them all the time for winter fishing they work really well you can tip them with nibblets or maggots, wax worms or just plain. Jammin jimmys web site has many to choose from.

These are good ice jigs. Tip with a waxworm and fish under a bobber or add a splitshot above them and fish them tightline.
