The kids didn't have school today so I managed to get out of the office early and took my nephews out for crappie. We banked it today and tried Will's Creek for a change. As expected the water is really low. My 6 yr old newphew caught a 13 inch largemouth that had some gashes in it like a muskie had hit it, but it was healthy enough to hammer his jig and minnow. 10 yr old Nephew Kris ended up getting into 6-7 crappie that were anywhere from 4 to 9 inches. I managed to land I think 8 crappie from 8-10 inches dipping a glow stinger shad on an 1/8 oz head. All the fish thumped the shad.

Was a fun trip for the boys and myself. We only got to fish for about 1.5 hours or so. Only a couple of the smaller fish were whites.....rest were blacks
