Other than the canoe stabilizers, I have not seen anything else. You can do wonders with conduit and PVC.
Here is a silly question... Anyone know of a off the shelf product that is aimed at small boats (14' would be perfect!) to address the rolling of a boat? I found canoe stabilizers but they are expensive. Anyone have ideas how to make a set of home made stabilizers.
My boat is small and narrow, thus it rocks with ease. I have been thinking of constructing a set of roll stabilizers. I am thinking of those Hawaiian canoes what use out riggers. Anyone else out there ever think of solving this issue? Thoughts/ideas?
(I love my little boat, so buying another boat is out of the question for me. It gets me into some real tight spaces.)
Thanks in advance!

Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.
We did make canoe stabilizers using conduit and PVC for our canoes that we use in Canada. It worked wery well. I was partner with a guy who had now since of balance. A couple other who go with us found it funny but after they saw we could sit hooks and do a little moving around without effecting the canoe, they change there minds.
The Crappie are always biting better yesterday - I'm always a day late.
is stowing the "stabilizers" (when running down the lake) ... and "getting into some real tight spaces" with the outrigger attached
If you're talking about this $185 thingy :
then making one out of PVC & these "boat bumpers":
shouldn't cost you anywhere close to that.
Just some food for thought ........... cp
