Sounds like a decent day again thanks to COOK's little honey hole. Also sounds like Dave's boy Jason was doing very well close by. Met him last month at the Smithville tournament. We always like pictures.
This afternoon I hit the spot Cook has been talking about recently. I fished for about 3 hours, kept 8 (between 10"-12 1/2") and threw back another 5 or 6 keepers ... not to mention quite a few shorts.
gotcrappies's son Jason was on the opposite side and slaying them. It was very impressive and he assured me that he would send his Dad a picture and it would probably show up on here .. so gotcrappie, hopefully you'll post that pic here. Jason is a great guy and helped me out quite a bit.
Anyway, being a bank fisherman at Smithville isn't the easiest thing in the world. Other than the Spring spawn, it's damn near impossible. That being said ... You are the man Cook! Thanks so much for sharing with us and I can't thank you enough for putting me on the best fishing I've seen in a while.
