    Default crappie candy

Years ago I used a product called crappie candy. This stuff worked like wildfire here in my area. Anyone else ever use it.

No i use nibbles also but these were small grub looking pieces of a rubbery sort. It was made by berkley I think. It was better then anything they have now.

and I don't think it's being marketed now. It was a little tear drop shaped piece of colored/flavored gelatin thingy. I had some, a long time ago ... never used them, so I dropped a couple in my aquarium to see what my Crappie & Warmouth would think of them. The "candy" lay on the bottom, until all the color (flavor ?) went out of them, and I took them out and threw the whole lot of it away.
They apparently didn't work (sell) so well, overall ... that's why Berkley went to "Powerbait", "Nibbles", and now ... "Gulp".

You might try Bang Shad (fish attractant spray) ... it has Shad oils as an attractant. And Crappie are attracted to "that" smell ... cp

bttmline, I've used it to with real good success through the ice years ago and still have a little around. I thought I've seen it at Walmart a year or 2 ago.I'll look around and see I can find any.
