I just got my computer out of the shop last week or so, and the man told me that most of his business comes from people being on face book a lot.
He said they always say the only place they go is on Face Book.
I also had been on Face Book a lot before mine started having troubles.
I'm not putting FB down, just passing this info. on to all here.

My interpretation of that statement goes like this. He probably has just about the same amount of business he always had, but now everyone is on facebook so it is the easy scapegoat for grumpy computer techs. The reality is that peoples comp problems still mainly come from all the same places, i.e. email, porn sites and P2P sharing programs. I have been on facebook for a couple years and have never had any damaging security issue. I think most people who blame facebook for their troubles are getting them from somewhere else and blaming facebook, and the rest just heard about so called problems from the people I just mentioned. Both groups have very little understanding of where their problems come from.

Facebook really doesn't do anything its all those applications and games you can get on FB that will slow ya down.
