    Default Attack formation?

    Hey forum,

Does anyone feel that crappie schools appear differently on the sonar screen depending on their mood?

For example, yesterday on Jordan Lake NC, the fishing was good and the fish were on the sonar suspended at 12-16' over 20'. Today, same story until just before 8am when the fishing slowed way down. The fish were still layered on the sonar, in fact I think there were more moving through than yesterday; but for some reason, the way the fish were appearing on the screen looked different than in the morning and previous day when they were biting aggressively. They were at the same depth...the archs were the same size. I can't really explain how, but I got the feeling it just didn't look the same.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

    Thanks,
    Jeremy

Mine always face left.LOL Only thing I noticed is that when they're extra tight to cover or the bottom they aren't as active as when they're moving around off the bottom.
