i been usin "DO-IT" molds for over 30 yrs. have had very good service from them. they have a free catalog available, hope this helps!
I have a bunch of lead left over from making my duck decoy weights. I am thinking of trying to make some jig heads. The pot, ladle and mold I have for my decoy weights belonged to my grand-dad. So I have everything I need except the jig mold. Anyone have an extra for sale or could point me in the direction of a good one that will last for years. I looked on Ebay but don't like to buy there if I am not familiar with the products people are selling. I believe in you get what you pay for and would like to buy a quality mold.

The Do-It molds from the vendor below should have you ready to go:

Do these "Do-it" molds produce a good clean edge. I don't really have to worry about this when casting decoy weights. Just wondering if there is a lot of time involved trimming the edges after casting the jig heads.

no they are very precise...no fins to trim and i've molded thousands in them!
SCRAP The mold I have (15years old) not sure of the brand works real good the seam dose not show. They tell you to cut the head off the surplus lead with wire cutters this dose not work. If you let them cool a little they will bend and break off very clean. This may help.
Thanks - sounds like a "Do-it" mold is the one I am looking for.

Hey, scrap, forget Jann's, Barlow's or Bass Pro. Go direct to DO-IT, may be cheaper. Do-It Corporation, 501 North State Street, Denver, Iowa 50622. www.do-itmolds.com
