    Default Pro crappie Fisherman

Are proffessional crappie fisherman, like wally Marshall make as much money as a bass pro on the elite series would? What are the pay outs like compared to bass fishing payouts?

It's not anywhere close to what the bass guys make, but Wally makes a truck load of cash from sellin cheap chinese tackle using his name at Bass pro.

I have used cheap crappie/fishing gear from a lot of people who endorse the product and it wasnt any good and they like walley marshall were tournament fishermen also . I have used walley marshall stuff and liked most of it and loved some of it.

They only get a good check in a major tourney, most of their living comes from sponsors and plugging their products.

I think Grizz is jealous! hehe Say what you will about Wally but be sure to thank him for a lot of the innovations that are used in Crappie fishing today. He was one of the pioneers of Crappie fishing and getting people interested in it and putting money in the Crappie fishing industry. EB

Dealing with crappie gear and going crappie fishing sure would be a nice way to make a living anyway.:D

I think wally has his name on several good products, but the rod holders are not one of them.
