Default Ok, so I tied a few

My wife was made our daughter's tinkerbell costume and I tied jigs when I wasn't lending a hand.

That is some fine craftsmanship there. I am going to drop the squirrel tails in the mail for you this week. That chartreuse road runner head would look real good with some grey squirrel tail tied to it. Yep. Yep. Yep.

Looking good. I especially like the road runners.

Thanks y'all. I've caught a few on the road runners I've tied before with more of a deciver styled pattern, but this was my first foray into maribou and deer hair for jigs. I am usually tying up saltwater patterns on larger hooks.

JR I plan to trick something into eating them. I gotta find time to get on the water and with trout season coming up fast it's gonna be hard. They might end up wating till spring for a test run if Adam can't drag me out soon. Maybe an evening trip to the ponds when my wife isn't working so late.

I got a couple wet at Bayou Bonfouca Wednesday evening with my daughter. I managed a fat blue crab but no fish. I tightlined and she corked.

Hell man, let's go! My trout trip was relatively uneventful. I picked up one 17 and lost another about the same size. I threw back two dinks, well one might have measured up to 12.5 but I didn't feel like measuring. Had I known it would have been such a slow day I would have kept him at 12.5.
