    Default Jelly Jig report


    Fished Lay Lake in AL Friday 10-29, started at 2:30 pm fished till 6:00 pm. Kept 53
    almost all caught on Jelly Jigs. Thanks Snake your jigs are fish catchers for sure. :D :D

    Yes they do catch fish. I have not been to the lake crappie fishing with them yet but I have tried them on the bluegill in the farm pond behind my house.....they will flat hammer it. I am using a blue body chartreuse tail jelly jig.
    I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

    yellow chartreuse heads with red eyes with black dots.

    I experimented with a needle and rubber today. Thanks Snake for your advice. Came up with these.

    Be advise there is a warning out right now about eating fish from Lay. Might want to head to Mitchel, Neely Henry, Weiss, Guntersville or Logan Martin if you are doing the "Catch and grease" thing.

    warning I read is for Logan Martin and 1/2 mile below Logan Dam, but I do fish Mitchel also. thanks for the warning ship
