need input on Apple computers
My son wants a new computer for christmas and he wants an Apple........talkin about an apple macbook notebook and aint no talkin him out of it, done tried............does anybody have any feedback because i have never even touch an apple computer muchless know anything about them

Converted over to mac a few years back. They have a high price but you get what you pay for. Apple is known for keeping there new operating systems where they will be backwards compatible with their older hardware. I know that personally I'm staying with them for the foreseeable future (got burned with Vista).

New creation of software that enables you to run all pc programs on the mac make it a little easier for me to swallow. Being a creature of routine I have my doubts personally about my compatibility with it but the kids seem to be keyed into it. The creative side of mac is touted as being superior.
