    Default 10-27 A Grand Morning-The Sequel

Woke up this morning and didn't hear the wind howling so I hitched up the tub and headed to Truman. The old girl was good to me. I could have had a limit in an hour and a half but decided to throw em back. Did keep a limit of fish for a neighbor. Black/char paddletails with orange 1/8 oz jighead. Caught fish everywhere I stopped. Best bite was 7 1/2 to 10 fow and fishing 6 to 12 inches off the bottom. They hit it hard today! Never a doubt if it was a bite or not.

Great looking batch of fish! Sounds like one heck of a day. I would love to get out this weekend but I start my annual 2-week bowhunt this Friday (ahhhhhh....... so many hobbies so little time!). Oh well, I hope they are still on bite the middle of November, that will be the next time out for us. Good job.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish

Very nice day Bob! Those blacks look odd to me for some reason that I can't quit figure out. They just seem off color, did you put them on ice before the picture?
