float tube bladders

does anyone know if you can replace the "new" pvc bladders in float tubes with tire inner-tubes. I am trying to prempt my tube's failure. thanks

I have older tudes that all use truck tire inner-tubes. T ehy work just as well as anyother I have seen. So I don't see why not. Unless it has some special shape? Ron

thanks for the reply, i bought a tire tube and i believe it fits the tube better than the original bladder that came with the tube.
