    Will be in this area turkey & hog hunting middle april. Is there any crappie fishing going on around here.

    Choke Canyon is the only lake in the area. They have a lot of gators in the lake too. Being that it will be the nesting season that time of year, I wouldn't go beating the banks of a feeder creek or you might run across a angry mommagator.
