Hey there CrappieChappy. Usually, you can go to the manufacturer's website and look for accessories and add-ons for products. I went to Lowrance's website and did not see the model you listed above -- http://www.lowrance.com/marine/default.asp ????
I have a lowrance lcx-18c. When I bought it from Bass Pro last year, it didn't come with the GPS, but it is GPS compatible. My question is this. Can I buy something now to make it work off of GPS and if so, then what do I need to purchase? Thanks!!

Hey Crappychappy:
Good news is all you need is the GPS module.
Bad news is they are $228 dollars from Lowrance! You can probably find it more reasonable somewhere else though, maybe GPSdiscount.com.
Hey Chappy, looks like you need a LGC-12W Lowrance part number: 112-06. If you go to this link and search by your model name it will list all available accessories. http://www.lowrance.com/accessories/default.asp Here is a couple links where I found this particular gps receiver. http://store.wmjmarine.com/c15452.html http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...=7510101020603
Good luck. You'll love the GPS. I've got a Humminbird with it and its unbelievable.
Do your research first. You will probably need a chip also. That’s a hundred to one fifty. Go to lowrance.com and look at the enhanced maps, they are free to download. You might find your lakes there. If not, check. Lowrance Fishing Hot Spots Elite or Navionics HotMaps Premium. You might not find
Your lakes anywhere. That’s if you what maps. If you just want to put in waypoints and trails you can get by without the chip…Good luck

Lowrance has some "Enhanced Lake Maps" that you can download for free. You'll have to have the MMC docking station in order to put them on your cards to put in your unit.

They have one for Lake Greeson and it's fair - has 10-foot interval contour lines. However, they don't have one for Hamilton yet - at least not last time I checked.
