Team Tournament Rules for March.4, 2005
ENTRY FEES- This tournament is open to the public. All Entry fees need to be paid by March 3, 2006. We will accept Entry fees from Club members who have paid there ACA & BCCC Dues the morning of the Tournament. All other Entry fees need to be paid by March 3, 2005. The entry fee will be $50.00 per team. There will be an individual side pot for the biggest fish for $5.00 per person.

TEAM -A team may consist of no more than 2 people. You may fish alone but the entry fee will be the same.
SIGN IN- Sign will be from 6:00am – 6:30pm all contestants must sign.
DEPARTURE-Departure from the marina will be at 6:45am on. Everyone’s Ice chest and live wells will be checked for fish before departure. Once all boats are in the channel a starter gun will fire signaling the start.
WEIGH-IN- Weigh-In will be at 3:00pm. You must be back at the marina at this time and checked off of the sign in sheet to qualify.
FISH- Each team will weigh-in their combined 7 largest crappie. Crappie may be caught by any legal means. Any undersized fish will automatically disqualify all 7 fish. Teams may fish from the bank as well as boats but must remain less than 25’ apart. There may not be more than two contestants per boat, Fish may be weighed in dead or alive, but must appear freshly caught. The tournament committee will make a ruling on any disagreements, their decisions will be final.
TIE BREAKERS-In the event of a tie the winner will be determined by the largest fish. If this too is a tie we will combine the 1st and 2nd place prize money and split it between the two parties. This will also apply for 2nd and 3rd. If there is a tie for 3rd the 3rd place pot will be split. If there is a tie for biggest fish the pot will be split.
SAFTEY- PFD’s must be worn while up and running or on plane. They may be removed while you are fishing, or idling to you next spot.
Alcoholic Beverages will be forbidden during fishing hours.
PAYOUT
1st Place will receive 50% of the total entry fees gathered, less $10.00 per Entry for Tournament expenses.
2nd Place will receive 30% of the total entry fees gathered, less $10.00 per Entry for Tournament expenses.
3rd Place will receive 20% of the total entry fees gathered, less $10.00 per Entry for Tournament expenses.
BIG FISH PAYOUT 100% of the money gathered for the side pot. Only people who pay for the side pot are eligible.
We may have some door prizes which we will have a drawing for.
AWARDS- Awards will be presented 4:00pm
This is a friendly competition so lets all do our part to make this event fare and honest.

Well here we go again the tournament is just a few days away. It looks like there will be at least 16 teams. It's not to late to get on board and share in the fun. The fish are staging for the spawn so everyone is a potential winner this go round. If you can't make this one stay tunes we have our next tournament on Lake Conroe in just 4 weeks.
