    Default Spring Bait on LOZ

    Hi All,

I am getting anxious about spring fishing. We bought a cabin a few years ago near the 46 MM on LOZ and I have started fishing a bit and I must say I am hooked. Why else would I be reading posts on this website during my lunch hour.

Have you found one type of bait or presentation works better than others? I usually use green/black, silver/grey, blue/black kalin grubs or live minnows. Since I am new to fishing I can use all the help I can get.

Also, can someone explain different weight hooks to me. I get the obvious in terms of depth and speed but is there some rule of thumb you all use.

Thanks in advance for the information.

    Default jigs

good choice...........white/chart and black/chrt are good mosta the time, ditch the minnow, not worth the time right now. Throw that on a 1/16 oz. weedless head. Right now its not so much what you are throwing its were your fishing. Best of luck.
