Smile Tennessee River Ken lake crappie

Good numbers of both specks and white crappie being taken in 10-14 feet.
Along drops and over matts. Big Sandy area. Using jigs in greens and red colors. Water stained surface temp 46 to 48 degrees and dropping.

I agree with crappierunner 10 to 14 ft. Using pink 1/8th 0z leadhead and a white curly tail grub is working good from Harmens creek to beaverdam. The only problem is the water is still low around 354.4 Just off the river in the barge shoots is good if you can find one out of the wind. In the afternoons just before dark they are some nice crappie in the 2 to 3 pound range running the banks after shad minnows. Good luck and let us know how you do.
