    partner and I fished from 11:00 AM till about 12:45 PM. Fished four brush piles 20-23 fow, fish down 10-12 feet. Used chartruse jig tipped with minnows, caught about 70 fish, kept 30 each 10-11 inch fish. Nothing great but lots of steady action, Lots of 8 3/4 inch to 9 1/4 inch fish that should prove keepers next year. Lots of gentle pickups, soft bites but lots of fun. But wait I think I have another bite!

    The daily limit per person at LOZ is 15 crappie, nine inchers or longer. Two of us kept a total of 30 in excess of 9 inches.
    Ranger, give me a shout and if still fishing will try to put you on the bed! we have been fishing only a few locations/brushpiles then moving on to the next, run and gun style fishing. Wouldn't mind even joining you for a cold one. Tell the boys on the East side howdy! BC
