    Default South Jersey Slabs


    I am in South Jersey today at my parents (live in PA). Got out to a little pond I have been fishing since I was around 15. Got 6 today, good size (for NJ). The were hammering a chart tube jig with a white crappie nibble. They feel so good on 2lb test and a 5' ultralight. These fish have doubled in size since last year it seems and they were all pretty shallow, about 10' from shore. Anybody else in South Jersey, Blackwood area?

    I nailed them today in North Jersey, Pink 1/32 head , pnk/wht/char 1.5" tube and chart crappie nibbles, 26 in all
