Default Last day for going up river at Smithville.

Took off to catch some crappie today, it is the last day to go thru the wild life area. The wind was tough. I ended up with 10 keepers, one was a nice 14 inch. I guess i will need to start looking on the camp branch side. I didn't see one boat up the river. I thought I might see some of you fools up there.

Way to get out and braved the wind glad you found some , I wish they would do something about that upper ramp butt I think that's been said before

Rodney a jon boat and waders , you are a true crappie fisherman. But up that way the rewards can be great!
May all your live wells be full.

Shhhh Y'all... I've been tellin' folks that there's only dinks and stumps upriver. Now you got people talkin' bout comin' from the Ozarks to Smithville. Keep on spreadin' them lies and they'll be comin' from Granada!
Gotta get out there and check on them stumps soon, though. Wonder if the timber just south of Hwy W on Owl Creek off the Camp Branch arm holds anything? Anyone been there or higher on that creek. Haven't been out in a long while but I'm planning to go tomorrow and next Sunday.
