Default Going fishing for the first time in a month!

Just wanted to see how the fishing has been going on Truman. Getting out for the first time since knee surgery and hopping to find some fish.

Monty is right on. If you get shallower than 10 ft take it to the bottom and lift it up 6 inchs to a foot. We had good luck on blk/yellow and wht/chartuse. I think if you get it in front of them they will eat right now.

PBUG I have been wacking them on some hand tied jigs like the one in the picture under your name. Bumble bee looking chennile and yellow hackle on a ruby slipper pony head with a willow leaf blade.

I looked at the top 20 boats on Saturday, didn't see any feather jigs but I did see a couple colors that will join my arsenal

Man, good luck! I haven't been since last Sat. and it feels like I haven't been in a month, lol. Thankfully I'm getting to go Friday and Saturday this week.

Quinn (rugsrme) and I are hitting Truman Friday morning. We will be putting in at Bucksaw and going UP to try a few spots. Will post when I get back home around 1 PM.

    Lenny.......colors......inquiring minds want to know.
