Default New rig and rod holders

Ordered my new set of HiTek rod holders by the compliments of most all forum members last Friday. UPS tracking says they will be here tomorrow. I am a new member here and just getting into crappie fishing. I have always fished alot but not crappie fishing. I ordered 4 sets of 4 rod holders I have a Bass Tracker Pro Crappie 175. I have added anchors mates and a lowrance X96 for front of boat so far. Any ideas or tipsmembers willing to share will be greatly appreciated. Thanks looking forward to learning alot here.

Lawdog, I just started this crappie addiction about 4 months ago. Try to get with someone who crappie fishes alot and pick up some trick of the trade. I done just that and have trolled, tightlined, and threw jigs. My Hi-Teks were to be here today but per ups it will be tomorrow then installation so I can fish on Sunday. Good luck with everything and there are alot of good guys on here that will steer you the right way, they did me.

Get some crappie slime on it. Most guys do away with the cup holders and mount the hi techs in the corners. Just an idea.
