Hey good report it has been awhile for me hope to get out soon.Do they still have some one at the guard shack or is it open. Jim C.
Haven't been out for a few weeks,so was going for cats today.Couldn't net any shad and the rain was kinda steady so I grabbed the crappie rod and headed under the bridge.
T ook about an hour to start getting bites after trying different methods/colors.Ended up casting parrallel to the rocks 5-8 feet out.Slow ,slow, steady retrieve..most bites were on the bottom jig just about hitting the bottom about 5-6 deep.
Not a limit, but ended up with 12 and even a few white bass.
Not bad since I was fishing just 1 spot in the rain, and was pretty muddy since they dumped all that water.
a 12 and a 14",all the rest were normal, didn;t have to measure but 1 or 2.Looks like fall pattern(putting on the feedbag shallow) is starting to take shape.

A gun, like any other source of power, is a force for either good or evil, being neither in itself, but dependent upon those who possess it
From an old movie I saw
Sounds like a mighty fine trip considering the conditions Cook, keep it up buddy cause the fall bite is on everywhere.
