Thumbs up Stockton did it again

got to the lake about 9:30 or so,got to the big tree arround 9:45 and first fish pretty quick after that, fish were in 6ft of water, and they wanted the jig sitting real still, caugh 7 in about half hour, all keepers, then the small ones bit for about 30 mi. so moved to a rock pile, piddled arround there for an hour, nothing, moved a few yards, seen a swarm of fish on the LOWRANCE so I dropped a marker and went to work, casting to the school and got a few small ones, started with red/green slabbuster, swithched to brown/chartruse and dropped the jig to the bottom and came up two reels and bam 11 in crappie, steady caught fish till 12:15 and counted the beads and said 15 so packed up and headed to the ramp, not a bad day.

    water was clear
    temp was 67 dg.
best jig was brown/charturse, with pepper flakes punpkin seed I think Jack calls it
wind was light out of the south
    lots of sun
    A GREAT DAY FOR SURE

Nice going Beagle! Buzzy and I did not fair so well on the other end of the lake. Fished all over the place and just could not find them. Jigs were better today for the 1st time. We did have a good time though and I did get to ride in Buzzy's boat. Thanks Buzzy for a great day!

We fished up there yesterday and found them stacked on a hump in about 13ft of water that dropped off to about 20ft on either side. Caught them on black/chartreuse slab busters tipped with a minnow. I've never caught so many 9-15/16" fish in all my life. It was lots of fun, we found them late and didn't have time to wade thru the little ones for a bunch of keepers, ended up bringing home enough for a mess.

That's what i call a good day, excellent weather, a limit of fish and no problems with the boat.
