    Default Cold fronts.

I was wondering with winter forcasted to return this weekend how long most of you wait before returning to water. Is there any rule of thumb to go by as to when you can expect the fish to become active again during a sustained cold period?

actually, I am glad to se the winter coming. I think the fish have been stunned with warm temps, yet only 11 hours of daylight. They are most likely very confused. At least the cold weather will feel right to them.

I like fishing on high pressure days after a front of any kind. Those days I seem to catch crappie. Not good for bass fisherman thought. I like fishing for crappie when they are supsended. Just fits my style of fishing.

But a cold front in Alabama is different then one in Kentucky
