Arkansas River

Does anyone fish the Arkansas River for crappie. I used to bass fish the lower pool at Pendleton. I'm sure crappie fishing would be good too. where would you fish this time of year, rock jetties, back water, outside banks? Thinking about trying it, any help would be appreciated.

I've had pretty good luck in the backwater areas (little maumelle river). Once the spawn gets closer, these areas will tend to be a little muddy after a recent rain. That muddy water can heat up quicker, and get the action started quick. CEB -
