Smile Last fishing day for me for some time

Tomorrow I am driving to Dallas to see my grand sons, and to have my last fishing day before surgery. I will have back surgery on Monday 4th. and that will put me down for a few weeks, but I could not go through that without having my fishing for crappie done first. I will be fishing in lake Luisville and hope to have the chance to field test my home made crappie jigs. A soon as I can, I will let you know of the results, and post some pictures with the catch. Any body knows a good spot on Luisville?

Man, if I was doin that I'd take a swipe at Lake Fork. It known as the best bass lake in TX, but I hear the crappies are awesome there.
Good things come to those who bait.

They are going to do spine decompression of L4 & L5 and fussion of the same. In plain Inglish they will strech me a little and put hardware to keep the bones in line.

    thanks for asking.

Good luck and get well soon. That grandson needs more fishing memories with his grandpa.

Lake Fork is a great bass lake and the crappie are not bad either. Chile, if you have the time, skip Lake Lewisville and head to Ray Roberts. It's an extra 30 or so min. on the road, but the crappie should be much better for you.
