With the water temps cooling, the fish are feeling it. It was a nice morning to be on the water to catch a mixed bag. The shad are schooling big time and the Husman’s are begging to be swimming in hot grease. These two “Swim Baits” were on fire today. They really like that blueish-purple lately. I found a “NEW” spot today in 19 fow that paid dividends. Here a few that made it into the “Lucky Bucket”.

Cooler nights have me thinking bout them Gee O rill as. Hook has been busy working on on his 79 year model Ranger He picked up over the summer. Hook has done a lot of work on the boat since this pic was taken.. We spent a few days rigging it and this was the madien voyage.. It took us two days to get all the leaves,trash and earth worms out of the bottom of it..lol No lie, this boat was green when I first saw it! Cleaned up pretty good.. It wouldn't surprise me it doesn't look like it just came off the showroom by now.
