I just bought a new Lowe Stinger and was looking to see what is out there in regards to
pedestal mount or non drilling type trollers for the front bow for spider rigging and longlining.
I would like to see a pic or two if anyone is using this type and what you think of them.
I have some that I will need to drill holes and mount, but just don't want to damage my boat until the new wears off. LOL...
Question? Why would you not want to rig your new boat up for fishing? After all isn't that what you bought it for?
Don't be afraid of drilling holes in the deck of the boat. Just make sure you do it right the first time and you will never notice the holes because they will be covered up.
I personally like the Cumberland Crappie Custom Rod Holders myself. Check out thier website and you will see they make a great product. Remember you only need to buy these one time because they last forever and if you trade your boat off you can take them out and put them in the new boat.

I have 2 that clamp on to my seat pedestal and love them just fine. All no rust stuff too and strong. I really can't imagine any better, may equal, but how can it be better since these hold you rod very well and easy to use.

Did you buy it for a show boat or a fishing boat. After the first hole everything is down hill. Measure twice drill once. Go with HI-TECHS

Thanks Monk and Skip for your replies to the question I asked and these options have helped me out
on my decision. I appreciate your input.
I bought it for a show boat and have no intentions of fishing out of it. I have been showing boats for 25+ years on every Saturday morning
I can get to Lake Weiss.
When you get it rigged out post a picture and show us how it looks.I too don't like drilling holes in a new boat, but since I retired,I don't have to worry about that anymore.
congrats on your new boat!!! The first scratch is the hardest,,,,,,
I think that boat has all aluminum decks,,,,you might have to add some support
under the deck so that the mounting screws don't pull out.
Check out hi-tek pole holders, they are not as bulky as many others, and are very strong
Good luck with your new boat

Go ahead and order some HiTeks. Then cut you some 5/4 deck board to lay on your front deck, outline the outer edges of the deck. Then mount the T bars to the boards about where you think you like them. Go fish. Remount as needed until you are happy with placement. Then toss boards and mount properly with some backer plates or fender washers.
I did this to mine and it has worked great. I'm too lazy to pull the boards out. Been this way for 3 years. And the complete framework is plenty of weight to make the t bars steady when in use or on plane.
