    Default Worm Castings

Went in to feed my Africans this morning to see this ! lol.Them worm castings are so fertile that the cores with seeds from some green peppers that I threw in there 3 days ago started growing.I'm going to let them get some sunshine for about an hour a day and see what happens.I've thrown apple cores in there and they sprouted also.I just turned them under the soil though.I'm in the green pepper bussiness now, lol. As you can see one end of the bin gets vegtable peelings once a week. The other end gets shredded newspaper and coffee grounds weekly.I let the peelings and the coffee grounds sit on the counter all week in a closed Folgers coffee can for a week before putting them in.They get a little stinky, but after 1 day in the bin the smell goes away.

That is great. I plan on using my castings in my garden this spring from the red worms.

In our government-controlled schools we are taught that Lincoln was our greatest president because his war ended slavery and saved the Union. As usual, the other side of the story – the side that reflects poorly on the government – somehow gets lost. – Richard J. Maybury, The Abe Lincoln Hoax
