When pulling crankbaits out of the back of the boat, a 6 to 9 ft pole is long enough. Just tilt them upwards about 45 degrees to keep them from pulling out of the holders. The B&M Pro Staff Trolling Rod in 8 ft would be a good choice.

Is there a good one for this purpose out there? Hate to have 12' or 14' poles sticking out the back of the boat.

Crankbait Pushing Weights
Up here in the north, where the waters tend to be clearer, longer poles are a must when pushing baits off the front and sides. When I long line out the back though, I agree w/ Scotty that shorter poles work great especially w/ crank baits. JMHO.
Life has many choices, eternity has two...choose wisely.
Unapplied biblical truth is like unapplied paint...how many gallons do you have sittin' around? U.D.
Sorry, I wasn't very clear on this. I want to pull from the sides. Two off each side when I fish by myself and 3 when I have a partner with one or two out the back. Started pulling this year
(one rod on each side)and had good success. I would like to get more baits in the water and be more efficient. My boat is a Ranger Cherokee with a windshield, not much room to lay them down or stand them up, like I see some do.
Most telescoping I've see are too flimsy at the tip...
You might remove the first flimsy tip section and affix a new tip eye on the next bigger section...this will also make yor rod a little shorter which micht cure your problem of the poles sticking out the back of the boat when traveling...

I would think they would be too limber to troll cranks with. Most folks use BnM Pro Trollers but when you go with really long rods (16'+) the BnMs are to limber for me so I use Wally Marshall Tightline Specials. Caught a 10lb cat @ Geranda Lake a couple of weeks ago trolling cranks 2 mph and landed it without slowing down.

You can always buy the telescoping rods and cut a foot off of the tip. I've done this to a couple that I push from the front with a 5oz sinker.
I have used 12ft uncle bucks with no problems
