    Default Crappie Rod

I am looking for a good crappie that I can use a slip bobber on it....I have some b'n'm rods but the eyes on the rod are barely big enough for the knot that you adjust to set your depth...I can't think of the name of it right now...

But, looking for a crappie rod around 10ft or longe with some larger eyes on it..Would appreciate any help..

Jeremy; You might have to modify a rod; {replace guides with larger ones} Do you have a local rod guy? Or find one that has large enough guides then change the tip out to a size 7 or 8 mm ring, that will allow the stop not to sail right through....hope this helps.

... Call Grizzly Jigs & ask them. (18003059866) I'm pretty sure that the Richard Williams "Crappie Wizard" rods have larger tip eyes. They also have EVA foam handles, & a painted rod tip end (if that makes any difference). But, they are also IM7 blanks.

Grizzly Jigs should be able to tell you what brands of rods they have, that have a larger tip eye.

putting new eye's on the rod is a snap. I do it all the time as for .the tip that's where the cost is $3 buck for a tip. I like a firm tip rod to horse them out of brush

I would really like to learn how to put new guides on my rods. Do you have any tips on web sites, books, videos. etc that would help me get started?

Just do a search on youtube, there are lots of rod wrapping vids on it that should help you out.
