Now we're up from a couple of hundred waterfowl over a 7-9 year period to this:

'In the 100-page document, the groups presented research estimating up to 20 million birds and animals die annually from lead poisoning attributable to bullets, sinkers and other lead tackle."

And they wonder why outdoor folks don't believe a word they say.

    Thanks for the link!!!!!!!!!!

If 20 million are dropping each year, you'd think at least ONE fisherman would be able to report seeing at least ONE lead-poisoned bird. Remember--most "news" reporters simply echo what's PC in Washington. As this struggle moves ahead, we must make it our business to demand proof of the "facts" presented by activists and reporters.

In the spring, up on the N Platte river in Neb, I've seen waterfowl dead in the millions.
But it's not from lead poisoning, it's from cholera. Remember the one who takes the picture
tells the story, right or wrong, it's worth a thousand words.

20 million birds annually, now I see where this administration gets their numbers from. Less political implications from anglers than hunters, isn't that saying anglers votes are not enough to loose sleep over?? All of these one sided studies that are being submitted, they should have to do a complete forensic study to determine the real cause of the birds death. Not just an assumption of what they would like it to be. Im quite sure that the real culprit would be PCB, mercury or pesticide poisoning from agricultural run off.
