    Default Spring on Dale Hollow

    Hi,
This is my first time on this forum. I have been following for awhile and I am very impressed.
I will be fishing Dale Hollow this spring. Fished it last year on Easter. Easter was early last year, late this year. So, I will try to head down (Eastern side of Lake) around mid-March for a few days. Last year I found Crappie shallow, big ones almost ready to spawn (maybe even spawning?). Maybe a week or two earlier this year (not so close to spawn) would be better time to head down? Pitched jigs against slides last year with good results on smaller fish. Would like to troll some but unsure how to go about this, or will it work at this time of year? Anyone shed some light on good areas to target this time of year on Eastern Dale Hollow (around Sunset)?
Once again, great site, You folks seem very knowledgeable and friendly
    Any help/insight would be appreceated.

    Boat is a 2004 Lund 2025 Pro-v IFS
Been pounding Walleyes up Way-North for a long time,
Crappies down South are now running a close second (real close)
    Have a good evening all.

Weaver, Welcome aboard!! I live here on the wolf{east side of hollow]. Mid March has been decent the last few years. looked at my calanders for the last two years and around St. Patricks day both years we were catchin fish!!Alot will depend on weather an lake levels-had a real hard drawdown this year! the bulk of the spawn here usually hits later-april,May. I dont do much Trolling so I cant help you there. Mostly jig an drown minnows!!
