    Default Jig eyes


    Anyone know where a fellow could buy stick on jig eyes, Ive been experimenting with jig making but havent had any luck finding a place to find to buy the eyes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    For the eyes on the jigs I make, I use the water-based acrylic paint and apply a dot by using the blunt end of a toothpick broken in half.

    Darryl is right about painting them on, and if you mix the paint thick you can get a nice bulging eye. For stick on eyes try a craft shop like Michaels, they all kinds of holographic and rattling ones. Take a while and wander around you find a lot of stuff you can use for lure making cheap.
