Default Finally Got Erin to Truman Lake with Bob

And it was a great day, we were concerned about the weather but it sprinkled a bit on the way and was foggy most of the morning and it was fantastic weather for the most part.
Went down river to goat cove from Bucksaw and had a pretty good start. Erin got to finally catch a really nice crappie and a striped bass that had to be all of 3" long, not kidding it was a beast :D but he wanted to catch one.
I don't know if Bob wants anyone to know this but he and Erin used minnows most of the day, I tried the minnows but caught only one with them the others I caught with Bobs junebug/chart woollybobby tails We had 14 keepers with 2 really nice sized ones.
And it looks like I actually out fished Monty
Bob, thank you again we had a great time.
And Monty, thanks for the charger and Erin diggs the counter you left for him.

I clinched my cheeks a couple of times even though I knew Bob knows where he's going, even after the fog lifted, saw some islands I haven't seen before because the water was down allot since the last time I was there this spring.
    That GPS is pretty handy..
Thanks again for the charger, I will use it in your honor Monty.

Good to hear you guys made it down there....I know you been looking forward to it. Ain't that Bob one helluva guy?

That crappie counter you're wearing must be defective, though...shows only four beads pulled....oh wait, maybe it's just those colors!:D j/k

    congrats!

Had a great time fishing with these two characters this morn. Erin is a nice guy and Quinn is ........uhhhhhhh.......well.......Quinn is Quinn.
Psssst, Joe. There's a reason why only four of those beads are pulled. :D
