Didn't know him, but I'm sorry for the loss of your friend.

Was just informed by Thomas Gresham of the I & E department of W & F that Bob Dennie passed away Tuesday. Bob was once editor of the Louisiana Conservationist magazine and a lifelong and avid outdoorsman. He was also a friend.
Do not know of any upcoming arrangements - perhaps they will be posted in the Baton Rouge Advocate.

Pete, I am sorry to hear of your friend passing. Our Condolences go out to friends and family.
You can't fish with a hung line!
Thanks to you all, but Bob was really more to you than a friend to me. If you subscribed to the Conservationist prior to 1994, you know.
He was also once president of the Outdoor Writers Association of America (Wow!), he was elected into the Louisiana Sportsman's Hall of Fame within the past decade. He was published in many national, regional, and state magazines - if you read such literature, you have probably read his stuff. Skin cancer got him.
Louisiana, as well as I, have lost something of great value.
Pete
sorry to hear of this. great men are harder and harder to find now-a-days. when we lose one, we need to always remember.

Any man can be a father, but it takes a real man to be a DAD!!
Pete,
Sorry to hear about your friend. I'm sure I've read his stuff. My kids and I grew up reading the Conservationist. To bad the grand kids won't get to.
We fisherman/person's should take this as a reminder to get check for skin cancer with our yearly physicals.

Is he Grits Gresham's son? If so I knew him from my days at NW state back in the early 70s. Sorry to hear about that.
