    Default Crappie time

I was going to post on the IA board, but the last post there was mine, on 8/29. You guys are a lot more fun! A friend of mine and I hopped in the triton on Saylorville today, fighting 45 mph wind gusts,,,,,big white caps. After a while, gave up (soaking wet) and went to Big Creek. A lot more sheltered. Ended up with 1 nice LG bass, 8 white bass, and 26 nice crappie. Considering the wind, it was a good day. (heck any day fishing and not working is a good day). Those crappie aren't biting the bait, the are "nudging it". The bite is so light, half the time you don't know they are on.

I'm hoping to go out tomorrow morning before light (about 5). Anyone coming with me?
