Default I need 36 hours in the day...

Oh my, the weather is looking absolutely gorgeous this holiday weekend. The problem is not having near enough time to get it all done. I managed to slip out last night to bang some doves. Tonight, I fish. Tomorrow morning is the annual BIG dove shoot, guaranteed to see a few hundred birds. Then what?? I've got some geese spotted, and still have tons of places to shoot little birdies. All the while, those slabs may start to get hungry and I can't be in all these places at once!! :p

Sounds like I problem I would like to have! Our dove opener is not till 12:00 PM 9/4 and we do have a early goose/teal short season. I won't be shooting until 9/6, but I will be trying to pull some slabs up either Saturday or Sunday. Highs will still be around 90 here but still better than the 100s we have had for the last month or two.

I know hunt all day and fish at night. A good nightstalk would work great and allow all day to hunt. At least then you get a full 24 hours.

Ditto. It's my favorite time for bluegills, too. Most people forget about them once the spawn is over.

Been a long time since I went dove hunting, but always did like it a lot.

Big Blue Gills are pretty darn good too! Can you imagine if they were as big as Bass?
