The Ignore Feature and How to Use It

One of the options we as members have is the ability to ignore posts by folks that are annoying, hostile, and who habitually post topics of an inflammatory nature. For those of you who don't know where to exercise your "ignore option," here's how:

1. Go to Members List

2. Find the name of the member you wish to ignore and click on it.

3. Choose "Add to your Ignore List" for that member.

4. Confirm your choice to ignore the member.

It's a dandy option, don't ya think?

When I see that a very few are having such an impact on the folks who regularly enjoy this site, I figure that this is the best option. Since they seem to thrive on attention, let's starve em out.

Hey Vonna:

Excellent advice. It's really even easier than that. If you click on the members name on the forum it will take you right to their "Personal Profile". Then right there in the middle under their name there is a line that says "Add "Member" to your Ignore List". Click on that and in the next window click on "Yes" when it asks for verification. I don't think any future posts by that member will show up on any of the forums and I don't think they will be able to send you PMs either but I'd like to see how it works.

That is a NIGHTMARE bc1!!! This is AMERICA BY GOD and you don't have to fish with anyone you don't want to. You also have the RIGHT to IGNORE anyone that you choose to - even here. Aint life GRAND!!!
