Nicely done. Sounds like a heck of a trip.
Good fishing in the Glaize this weekend. Limits every day with the best being yesterday morning when we picked up our two-man limit in 90 minutes. That was fun. White/chart and red/chart SlabBusters/Garlands were the pick jigs of the weekend. Tipped with chart nibbles, too.
Fished some around the 10MM of the Glaize and other spots close to the 1MM in the Glaize. Fish were typically at around 12 feet deep in 15 feet of water, give or take a foot or two. Some piles held decidely bigger fish than others, which was interesting.
Also had a chance to try crankbait trolling a bit on Friday before the traffic became thick. We had a lot of fun. Caught a few crappie, small bass, a couple drum and one nice cat when trolling. It was a nice break. Thanks to Bugs for his trolling tips.

Nicely done. Sounds like a heck of a trip.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
Great job Scott, the bite should only get better now.

Great job
Scott.....sounds like fun!
Did you and Brian behave yourselves........doubtful!
Matt (Brian's brother-in-law) and I were dealing with fishing fish on the Kaskaskia River Saturday afternoon. It was unbelievable. If you were running at 18 mph it was non-stop fishing jumping behind the boat.
We are done with the river after that......close to the house but not worth it anymore.

Nothing better than getting out on the water.
Thanks for the comments, guys. Eager to get back down there.
And Jet Boy, of course we behaved ... as always. Sounds like Matt and you had quite an adventure.
