OUTSTANDING report and the little guys smile says it all! Great day with Grampa (aka old coot)
Saturday. After the weigh-in and the BSing afterwards, I headed up the river to see if I could find a few fish before it got dark on me. Wound up with 13 real good ones fishing between Otter and the power lines. Wht/char was the favored color. Most fish were caught in 13 to 15 fow, fishing 10 - 11 ft down. C & R day.
Sunday. Took the grandson out Sunday morning to see if we could find a few for him to catch. We got on the water around 8 and were off by noon. We must have caught at least 50 crappie with 35 - 40 of them being keepers. Kept 17 and released the rest. Was a wonderful time on the water with him. He's learning fast. Grandson outfished me as usual. Here is a pic of one of his gooduns.

A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
Just don't get much better than that. Excellent job. And a heck of a nice fish too.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
WTG Grand-pa! Very nice. He already looks like a Pro!
I just KNOW it was a big one!!!
