We arrived about 7 traveled to flat swamp and drifted the condos in that area, water temp was 84.6 water clear by the rock standards, bit was slow but steady several under 8 kept 5 all 10 but one 8 swallowed the hook. Wind got up and we left at midnight.all in all good trip for first time out in the SS Bourbon. this was a trip to see what the toon needed,.

Looks like you started the SS Bourbon off on the right foot putting fish in the boat. Congrats on the trip.

    Default Cooked for supper

Normally i don't keep fish, this time i did and will again i forgot how good they are. the SS Bourbon did good just minor problems to correct but i knew that. we used minnows tight lined at 12 ft in 25-28 ft water.

Good time and a good dinner. What more could you ask for?
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

good job and nice looking fish! Was at High Rock again yesterday and before I got there my brother-in-law and sister caught a bucket full of keeper size crappie...and had thrown 25 back. We tried to do some night fishing from the dock but only caught one by the time we called it quits.
    if wishes were fishes...
