Wappapello report 1-27-06

[Pirogue]

Duck season's finally over and got the boat switched over to fishin' mode.
Made it down to Wapp Friday afternoon.Fished up the river from 1:30 - 5:00.
Wasn't set up for riggin' so we spent the afternoon fishin' a float-n-fly rig on the main river flats.Caught LOTS of smaller fish and kept 14 over 9".
Figured that wasn't TOO bad for a spur of the moment trip,first trip of the new year,and it being too windy to fish my best flats.
