Default Dock shooters and Rocky Top jigs

I will be at LOZ over labor day and want to try my hand again at shooting docks. I have heard good things about the Rocky Top jigs for this type of fishing, what all do you guys use? I will be staying up around Cauffman (sp) bend.

As far as Rocky Top goes I know I you can buy them at Rocky Top, but is there anywhere online to buy them?

How much do they typically run??

I've never tried rocky tops for shooting but i'd guess they'll work just fine,i always use bobby garland baby shad and slab slayer's on occasion.Make sure whatever you use that its a solid body jig because tubes come off the head way too easy(unless you use an insider jighead) and make sure you're out early on labor day weekend it will get crazy up there about mid mornin. Now for the report,i haven't shot docks alot yet this year because we have been workin em over pretty good in that area pullin cranks but i have talked to several guys fishin docks and they have been strugglin in this hot weather, give shootin a try it might turn on any time but be prepared to fish some open water as well, good luck and check back with me right before you come i might have an up to date report for you.

We typically fish brush piles and lay downs. But this spring I was introduced to dock shootin' and absolutely love it, just another challenge.

how is the water color in the Cauffman Bend area right now?
