    Default Bull Shoals

Monk and i had a great trip with the exception of the heat every day we were down there the temp was over 100 with indexes in the 110 degree range we were cooked by 10 in the morninwe caught tons of hybrids, whites, spots largemouth and several walleye but like everyone else we talked to it was almost impossible to catch a walleye over 17"but i guarantee we had a blast tryin. On friday mornin monk caught a spot and a yellow perch on the same crank and i had one break me off and a few seconds later he jumped and spit the crank out so to say the least we had several interesting things happen to us on our trip.........Thanks again monk for turning me on to an awesome body of water and teaching me some new tricks when it comes to pulling cranks in deep clear water you are the man on that lake my friend.

    A beautiful Bull Shoals mornin

Sounds like a great trip! I've never been to Bull Shoals Lake, I've heard it is beautiful.

Nice work, Bugs. FYI, I plan on being way back in the Glaize this weekend. I'll keep an eye out for you. My buddy, brianlg from the Illinois board, and I will be in his green/white Triton fish 'n ski. Hope to run into you. We're heading down Thursday afternoon/evening.
