OK, I've had my fun. It wasn't East Fork, it was Lake Fork in Texas. I was doing a job south of Dallas and had a little time to slip away.

We fished from 7 - 11:30AM, kept 40 for the frying pan. Weather was sunny to partly cloudy @ 104 degrees, water temp was 89. Went out with a guide I met on the lake several years ago Terry Moon.

Give her a call if you are in the Dallas area or if you would like to go crappie fishing on Lake Fork, she knows the lake well.

went to the real dinkfork sun. from 12 till 8..caught alot of 10 inch whites and 3 blacks over 11 inch..the whites are alot lighter than the blacks..probably had 30 plus keepers...but they were not tourney keepers!!!

10" whites and 3 blacks over 11 not tourney keepers? Have you been paying attention this summer?
I love the hat Strarvin. All real fishermen should have a goofy fishing hat, especially those of us with less than full heads of hair. Nice fish too. Don't know about fishing 104 degree heat on purpose though. Guess that's why you guys are so good when it gets hot.
