AT 150 PM... WIND UP TO 70 MPH WERE REPORTED IN SMITHVILLE. AT 200 PM CDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DESTRUCTIVE WINDS UP TO 80 MPH. THE MOST DANGEROUS PORTION OF THIS STORM WILL TRACK ACROSS FAR NORTHERN CLAY COUNTY... IMPACTING THE HOLT AND KEARNEY INCLUDING INTERSTAE 35. PERSONS IN THIS AREA SHOULD SEEK SAFE SHELTER IMMEDIATELY!

channel 5 says we are under a tornado warning,hit the basement..but don't hear anything.
Yea, it passed though here, at least the first round, rained really hard, thunder, lightning, no hail.

I drove right through that storm while driving home from work today on I-35 .
Keeps hitting,just had another downpour-lot of trees down and some house damage on C hwy by CC intersection.
